"My Big Fat Greek Wedding" was such a success - both in theaters and on DVD - that the film's star Nia Vardalos and Playtone partners Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman have been looking for a way to reunite for another comedy. Playtone and Vardalos settled on Laura Zigman's new novel, "A Wilderness of Monkeys" as the perfect vehicle.

"A Wilderness of Monkeys" is about a big-time publicist who quits her day job to become a stay-at-home mom. After a few years of taking care of the kids, she must get back into the thick of things when her husband loses his job.

Producer Goetzman told Variety, "It is a fantastic vehicle for Nia, and we just love working with her."

Nia Vardalos was last seen onscreen starring in "Connie and Carla" with Toni Collette. Playtone is preparing to release "The Polar Express," starring Tom Hanks and directed by Robert Zemeckis.
