Scheduling conflicts have caused a problem for the comedy movie, Used Guys. 20th Century Fox was in preproduction on the Ben Stiller-Jim Carrey film with June 11th set as the date for filming to begin. But it was determined the schedules of the stars of the film and other production delays would make it impossible to shoot the movie this year.Jay Roach was set to direct the sci-fi comedy about pleasure clones who, after being replaced by upgraded models, go on the run in search of 'Mantopia.'
Jim Carrey just finished work on the dramatic thriller, The Number 23 and is attached to the upcoming story of Believe It or Not creator Robert Ripley for director Tim Burton.
Ben Stiller is currently filming Night at the Museum and has a cameo in the Jack Black movie, Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny.
