It's been a long time coming but now it looks like Brian De Palma and producer Art Linson may be getting serious about doing a prequel to "The Untouchables."De Palma's 1987 mob film, which was well-received by both critics and audiences alike, told the story of how Federal Agent Eliot Ness and his team brought down gangster Al Capone. The prequel, "The Untouchables: Capone Rising," would focus on Capone's arrival in Chicago and his rise through the ranks of the mob.
According to Variety, De Palma and Linson are hoping to start production sometime in 2006.
