Sophia Bush and Brittany Snow to Star in "John Tucker Must Die"

May 16, 2005 - With Jesse Metcalfe ("Desperate Housewives") already set to play the role of John Tucker, The Hollywood Reporter says Sophia Bush ("One Tree Hill") and Brittany Snow ("American Dreams") are in negotiations to join the cast of "John Tucker Must Die" for director Betty Thomas.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film follows a group of girls who get together to exact revenge on the high school hunk, John Tucker, who has broken all their hearts. Bush will play one of the girls who had her heart broken while Snow would play the new girl in town who is recruited to break John Tucker's heart.

Thomas has taken a couple years off from directing (her last film was "I Spy") but has kept busy as a producer ("Surviving Christmas," "Guess Who").
