Sept 27, 2004 - With the announcement of a proposed 2005 start date, the big question circulating about "Terminator 4" seems to be whether or not the Terminator himself, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, will return to the franchise.
According to Variety, "T3" director Jonathan Mostow will return and is supervising the completion of a script by "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" writers, John Brancato and Michael Ferris. It's not known whether Arnold's "T3" co-stars Nick Stahl or Claire Danes will appear in "Terminator 4" or what the storyline actually will focus on.
The budget hasn't been set, but Variety speculates the amount will be greatly reduced because of the improvements in effects and because Arnold probably won't be receiving a $30 million salary like he did for "T3."
