Director Bryan Singer recently spoke to AICN about his next movie project, a little film called "Superman." Maybe you've heard of it? Movie geeks have speculated for years over who will wear the big 'S'. With the project having gone through a few directors (McG was Singer's immediate predecessor) since Warner Bros. got serious about the movie 10+ years ago, the name of every young actor seems to have cropped up on the Internet as a potential Superman. Josh Hartnett, Jake Gyllenhaal, Brendan Fraser, Paul Walker, even "Smallville's" Tom Welling have been rumored to be up for the role.Talking to AICN, Bryan Singer put an end to the rumor he's casting anyone we'd recognize and confirmed he's looking for an unknown to be his Clark Kent. Addressing the newest rumor buzzing around the Internet that Jim Caviezel ("The Passion of The Christ") will snag the coveted role, Singer said, "No, that's absurd. I read that too and think it's just bizarre about James Caviezel, who's a wonderful actor. But, no, I'm committed to casting an unknown."
