Variety is reporting Steven Spielberg and Paramount Pictures are working on a space travel movie which Spielberg will direct.The story will be based on an idea by Caltech physicist Kip S Thorne. Thorne believes that wormholes can be used to travel through time. The film will center, according to Variety, around a group of explorers who use a wormhole to enter another dimension.
Spielberg latest film, Munich, earned five Oscar nominations including a Best Director nomination for Spielberg. The critically acclaimed filmmaker has a fourth Indiana Jones movie in the works as well as an Abraham Lincoln biopic. Both of those movies may come before this sci-fi, time-traveling film.
