Rumer Willis has joined her dad Bruce in the comedy movie The Sophomore to be directed by Brett Simon. Ex-The OC star Mischa Barton has also signed on to Yari Film Group's The Sophomore.
Filming is expected to begin in August on the dark comedy which finds Bruce Willis playing a high school principal and ex-military man. Barton will star as a popular student who gets involved in an investigation of stolen SAT exams. Rumer Willis is set to play Barton's best friend.
This isn't the first time Rumer has worked with her father in a feature film. The two starred in Hostage and Rumer also had an uncredited cameo in The Whole Nine Yards.
Barton will next be seen in Virgin Territory with Hayden Christensen.
