Director John Landis Takes on the World of "Show Dogs"

Director John Landis ("Animal House," "The Blues Brothers") has signed on to direct "Snow Dogs" for New Line Cinema. The comedy was written by Mike Bender ("Not Another Teen Movie") and will be produced by Chris Bender and JC Spink.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film follows a homeless Jack Russell terrier who enters the world of show dogs.

Landis is currently at work on the Showtime series, "Masters of Horror," which unites some of the big names in the horror genre including Roger Corman, John Landis, and Mick Garris. Landis also has "Epic Proportions" and "Bat Boy" in production.
