As usual, the film will be shot in Texas, with Miramax/Dimension hoping to have the film released in the summer of 2005.
According to Variety, Boyd will star as a kid with "imaginary superhero friends who come to life and join him on adventures." Taylor Lautner has also joined the cast.
Rodriguez has just completed filming "Sin City" with a cast that included Jessica Alba, Mickey Rourke, Rosario Dawson, Josh Hartnett, and Bruce Willis. Cayden Boyd has previously appeared in "Mystic River," "Envy," "Freaky Friday," and "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story."
