Warner Bros Pictures is staying in the Frank Miller graphic novel-inspired movie business by picking up the rights to Miller's Ronin. The studio's last Miller-inspired project, 300, was a massive hit that exceeded all expectations by delivering a $70 million opening weekend.
Warner Bros has hired Stomp the Yard director Sylvain White to helm Ronin. The film will be produced by Miller, Gianni Nunnari and Nick Wechsler.
Miller's Ronin is the story of a disgraced 13th century samurai warrior brought back to life in the 21st century to battle a demon.
