The 59-year-old Stallone will be lacing up his gloves and stepping back into the ring in "Rocky Balboa." The story finds Rocky pulled out of retirement to take on one last challenger.
Filming is expected to begin in December in Los Angeles and Philadelphia.
Ventimiglia just finished work on the teen drama, "Stay Alive," written and directed by William Brent Bell.
