Based on the Michael Noonan novel, "December Boys" is the story of four orphan friends in Australia during the 1960s who compete for placement in the home of a family they all come to love.
Richard Becker will produce "December Boys." Marc Rosenberg adapted the script. Filming is expected to begin in November 2005 in Australia.
Radcliffe will next be seen in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," which will be released worldwide on November 18, 2005.
