Ron Howard's daughter, Bryce Dallas Howard, has been signed to star in Warner Independent Pictures historical drama, "Mary Queen of Scots."
Bryce Dallas Howard made her big screening acting debut in M. Night Shyamalan's "The Village." After completing "The Village," Howard did a part in Lars Von Trier's "Dogville" sequel, "Manderlay." Howard was recently attached to "Eucalyptus" with Russell Crowe but was replaced on the film by Nicole Kidman."Mary Queen of Scots" will follow Queen Mary's rise to power. Jimmy McGovern wrote the script and Ridley Scott and David Thompson will act as producers. A director has yet to be hired however Variety is reporting the studio would like to begin filming in March, 2005.
