Wolfgang Petersen ("Troy") directs the remake of the 1972 action film about a cruise ship that capsizes when a huge tide wave crashes into the ship. Josh Lucas, Emmy Rossum, Kurt Russell, Jacinda Barrett, Mike Vogel, Jimmy Bennett, Mia Maestro, Andre Braugher and Richard Dreyfuss star in Petersen's new version of the classic adventure movie.
In a statement released by the studio, Warner Bros Pictures President of Domestic Distribution Dan Fellman said, "The drama and intensity of 'Poseidon' lends itself well to the power of The IMAX Experience, and we look forward to offering moviegoers the ultimate way to experience this classic adventure."
