Will Ferrell's being joined by Sacha Baron Cohen ('Da Ali G Show'), Michael Clarke Duncan ("Sin City"), John C Reilly, and Gary Cole. Also cast in the as yet untitled film is frequent Christopher Guest collaborator, Jane Lynch.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Reilly will play Ferrell's partner in one of NASCAR's most competitive racing duos.
Will Ferrell and Adam McKay ("Anchorman") wrote the script and McKay will direct the comedy. Judd Apatow and Jimmy Miller are producing the film.
Will Ferrell was most recently seen in "Wedding Crashers" and has "Winter Passing," "The Producers," "Stranger Than Fiction," and "Curious George" in the works.
