Writer/director Joshua Marston will follow-up his award-winning debut film, "Maria Full of Grace," with an as yet untitled drama about American truckers who deliver goods in war-torn Iraq.Marston will write and direct the Iraqi film for Warner Independent Pictures. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the temporarily named "The Iraqi Convoy Project" follows American truck drivers who deliver goods throughout Iraq to U.S. contractors.
Marston has made this film his first priority. There's no word yet on when production will begin however the studio and Marston realize because of the nature of the subject, the film needs to go into production as soon as possible.
