After years of speculation The Hollywood Reporter is now reporting first time feature film director Joseph Kosinski will helm the remake of Logan's Run. X-Men director Bryan Singer has long been attached to the project however it looks as though the film will be moving forward at Warner Bros Pictures without Singer's involvement.
Tim Sexton (Children of Men) is writing the screenplay and Joel Silver will be producing the new Logan's Run. According to The Hollywood Reporter the new film will stick closely to the book and not the 1976 movie which starred Michael York and Jenny Agutter. William F Nolan and George Clayton Johnson's novel involved a futuristic society where everyone is put to death as soon as they reach the age of 21 (the '76 movie upped the age to 30).
