Nick Lachey Joins "The Hard Easy"

Singer Nick Lachey has joined the cast of "The Hard Easy," an indie drama directed by Ari Ryan. Lachey finished up a stint on the WB's "Charmed" TV series, starring Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano, and Rose McGowan, and is now looking forward to appearing in a feature film.

Lachey's signing follows the news his wife, singer/actress Jessica Simpson, made a deal to star as Daisy Duke in the big screen version of the classic TV series, "Dukes of Hazzard."

"The Hard Easy" also stars Henry Thomas, David Boreanaz ("Angel"), and Peter Weller and follows two gangs out to rob the same jewelry store.
