Nov 10, 2005 - Oscar winner Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Ian McShane, and Jack Black have all taken up kung fu fighting. Not really. Hoffman and crew will be lending their voices to the movie "Kung Fu Panda" from DreamWorks Animation.
Lucy Liu ("Domino") is in talks to join the cast of the animated feature film about a lazy Panda named Po (Black). Hoffman will provide the voice of Kung Fu master Shifu, who has to teach Po kung fu skills. Chan will lend his voice to Master Monkey, a strong kung fu fighter who is everything Po isn't. Ian McShane will be the voice of the Tai Lung, a snow leopard who wants to destroy the Valley of Peace.
John Stevenson and Mark Osborne will direct "Kung Fu Panda." DreamWorks Animation plans on releasing the animated animal film in theaters in May 2008.
