George Miller, the man who brought singing and dancing penguins to life on the big screen in the Oscar-winning movie Happy Feet, is considering directing the superhero extravaganza, Justice League of America. Warner Bros Pictures is in talks with Miller to helm the project, with the studio aiming to film in Australia, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Kieran and Michele Mulroney are working on the script.
It now appears Warner Bros is going to be hiring a new batch of actors to take on the roles of Superman and Batman in Justice League of America rather than bringing Christian Bale and Brandon Routh onboard to reprise their roles. When Bale was asked while doing press for 3:10 to Yuma if he was signed on to appear in Justice League of America, his answer was no which all but confirms the studio's going in a different direction with this project. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting casting is currently underway for lessor known actors to take on the roles of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, and Aquaman.
