Nov 1, 2007 - Amy Adams may be joining Meryl Streep for the juicy movie Julie & Julia written and directed by Nora Ephron. The 'Julia' in the title refers to iconic chef Julia Child. 'Julie' is Julie Powell, a woman who set out to cook every recipe in Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking over the course of just one year. At the prompting of her husband, Julie blogged her experiences and became an Internet and media darling.
Ephron adapted the screenplay from Powell's book, Julie & Julia: 365 Days, 524 Recipes, 1 Tiny Apartment Kitchen.
Streep will next be seen in Lions for Lambs with Robert Redford and Tom Cruise. Adams has the Disney family movie Enchanted coming out on November 21, 2007.
