Jan 3, 2007 - Apparently Steven Spielberg, Harrison Ford, and George Lucas have all put their stamps of approval on the David Koepp script for Indiana Jones 4. It's only taken 18 years for the men behind the fourth film of the adventure series to agree on a screenplay. At this rate, Indiana Jones 5 won't be a possibility unless it's a prequel to the events in the other four films.
64-year-old Ford has been anxious to play the role one more time and, according to the actor, he's still physically capable of handling the intense action scenes. According to reports in Variety, Paramount Pictures is aiming to start filming Indiana Jones 4 this summer. The studio has tentatively set the film's release for May 2008.
The studio and filmmakers are keeping the plot a secret, and Indiana Jones 4 is only the working title. Spielberg will direct the film, with Frank Marshall producing. Kathleen Kennedy and George Lucas are executive producing.
