Summit Entertainment is fast becoming a force to be reckoned with and now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the poduction company is looking to make a new Highlander movie. Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, no strangers to epic storytelling having penned the script to the box office smash hit Iron Man, are attached to write the screenplay.

Christopher Lambert starred as Conrad 'The Highlander' MacLeod in the original 1986 action adventure film directed by Russell Mulcahy. The Highlander was a 16th century Scottish immortal who wound up in contemporary New York City battling his archenemy in a fight to the death (yes, immortals can die if you chop off their heads).

There's no word yet on who will direct this new Highlander film, which may be the beginning of a franchise for Summit Entertainment.
