Frank Oz Will Direct Death at a Funeral

Frank Oz has signed on to direct Death at a Funeral set to star Peter Dinklage, Matthew Macfadyen (Pride & Prejudice), and Ewen Bremner.

It may not sound like the appropriate title for a farcical comedy, but that's what writer Dean Craig is striving for with Death at a Funeral. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story follows a dysfunctional British family who come together to grieve over the death of the family's patriarch. When a man appears at the funeral threatening to let everyone in on a family secret, two of the deceased man's sons do everything they can to stop the news from spreading to the guests.

Sidney Kimmel, Share Stallings, Laurence Malkin and Diana Philips are producing the film.
