Shawn Levy Takes Charge of "Father Knows Less"

Just finishing up the 2004 prequel of "The Pink Panther" starring Steve Martin, director Shawn Levy has settled on his next project - the comedy movie "Father Knows Less" for New Line Cinema.

According to Variety, "Father Knows Less" revolves around an 'aloof' husband whose trophy wife abandons him, leaving him to raise his kids without any help.

Casting has not yet been done and New Line has not announced the production's start date.

Besides his current project, "The Pink Panther," Shawn Levy has directed the comedies "Big Fat Liar," "Just Married," and "Cheaper by the Dozen."
