February 16, 2007 - Aaron Eckhart has been cast as Harvey Dent/Two Face in Christopher Nolan's second excursion into the land of Batman - The Dark Knight - with returning Batman Begins stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman.
Eckhart joins Heath Ledger who will be playing The Joker in the superhero epic. Jonathan Nolan wrote The Dark Knight script based on a story by Christopher Nolan and David Goyer. Emma Thomas, Charles Roven and Christopher Nolan are set to produce the film.
Eckhart was last seen on the big screen in Thank You for Smoking (my personal favorite film of 2006). Next up for Eckhart is a co-starring role in the romantic comedy No Reservations with Catherine Zeta-Jones.
