Dakota Fanning Loves Horses in "Dreamer"

August 2004 - Sought after young actress Dakota Fanning has added "Dreamer" to her schedule. Fanning will play the daughter of a horse trainer (played by Kurt Russell) who nurses an injured horse back to health and gets it ready to race in the Breeder's Cup.

The DreamWorks project was written and will be directed by John Gatins, with Mike Tollin, Brian Robbins, and Hunt Lowry producing. Filming is set to begin in Kentucky and Louisianna in September 2004.

Dakota Fanning's recent credits include "Man on Fire" with Denzel Washington and "The Cat in the Hat" with Mike Myers.
