The Return of "Creepshow"

Warner Bros Plans to Begin a New "Creepshow" Film Franchise

Being a huge fan of the original Stephen King/George A Romero collaboration, "Creepshow," I'm taking the news Warner Bros Pictures is going to remake the 1982 horror/comedy with mixed emotions and just crossing my fingers the studio will do it right.

The original "Creepshow" featured a collection of five creepy stories written by Stephen King in the style of comics from the 1950s. None of the stories had anything to do with one another. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros plans to change that in the new version. This time each of the stories will share some characters.

The studio has not yet hired a writer to handle the script and no director has been named to the project. Roy Lee, Doug Davison, Taka Ichise, Tony Ludwig, and James Dudelson will produce the new "Creepshow."
