Hot off of that success comes the news Jason Statham has signed on to star in the action/thriller, "Crank," for Lions Gate Films.
Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor wrote the script and will co-direct "Crank." The film follows a hit man who discovers he's been poisoned and goes on a rampage through the streets of Los Angeles.
Gary Lucchesi, Tom Rosenberg, and Michael Davis are producing the film which is set to start filming next month.
