Sharon Stone's been involved behind the scenes of the romantic comedy "Cougar" for a while, but now Gold Circle Films has announced Stone will star in the film, set to start shooting next year."Cougar" finds Stone as a wealthy woman in her 40s who can't resist the charms of younger guys. In the film, Stone falls for a 27 year-old who needs her help getting his business started.
Gold Circle President Paul Brooks told Variety, "This is a phenomenon that has been sweeping the southern states of America and seems to be spreading. There are cougar night parties. It's a fascinating subculture that lends itself to a romantic comedy."
Tara Miele and Kristine Skeie wrote the script, with Michael Gruber, SideStreet Entertainment, and Paul Brooks set to produce the picture.
