Ron Perlman Signs on to the Voice Cast of "Conan: Red Nails"

"Hellboy" star Ron Perlman will be providing the voice of Conan in the animated film, "Conan: Red Nails," to be directed by Victor Dal Chele.

Perlman joins Marg Helgenberger, James Marsden ("X-Men 3"), and Mark Hamill in the animated pic about the life of Conan the Barbarian. Steve Gold and Timothy Dolan adapted the script which marks the first time Conan's story has been told in a feature length animated film.

Production is scheduled to start soon on "Conan: Red Nails," which is based on a story by Robert E. Howard. New Line Home Entertainment plans to release the film in the summer of 2006.
