Charlie Hunnam Considers Joining "The Children of Men"

Starring Clive Owen and Julianne Moore

By Rebecca Murray, About.com

Sep 7, 2005 - Charlie Hunnam is in talks to join the cast of the movie "Children of Men," directed by Alfonso Cuaron and based on the sci-fi/mystery novel by P.D. James.

Clive Owen and Julianne Moore have already signed on to star in the film which will be produced by Marc Abraham, Eric Newman and Hilary Shor.

James' novel follows the story of a radically changed world where humans can no longer reproduce. When a woman discovers she's pregnant - something no other woman has been able to do for more than 20 years - Clive Owen's character is assigned to protect her life. If Hunnam signs on, he'll play the member of a band of rebels.

Charlie Hunnam starred in "Abandon" with Katie Holmes and "Nicholas Nickleby." Hunnam recently completed work on "Ask the Dust" and has "Green Street Hooligans" set to be released.
