Leonard Wise's Novel The Big Biazarro Heads to the Big ScreenJan 19 2007 Pierce Brosnan's and Beau St Clair's Irish DreamTime Productions is teaming up with Maloof Motion Pictures to produce a film based on The Big Biazarro by Leonard Wise. Brosnan will not only be producing the movie, he's also set to star in the film adaptation. Irish DreamTime Productions' past releases include The Thomas Crown Affair and The Matador both of which starred Brosnan in a lead role. The Big Biazarro takes place in the world of high stakes gambling. Brosnan will play as an expert card player who takes on the job of mentoring a "headstrong but talented protégé." Commenting on the deal, Phil Maloof said in a press release, "We have a great deal of respect for Pierce and Beaus creative instincts, and are thrilled to be in business with them." Andrew Jameson from Maloof Motion Pictures added, "Given the connection between the subject matter and the Maloof familys interest in gaming, this project made perfect sense for us. Irish DreamTime's St Clair was quoted as saying, "Adapting Leonard Wises classic novel has been a major priority for Irish DreamTime. With Vondie's vision and the Maloofs' passion for this realm, we plan to take the audience on a wild ride into the international world of high rollers. Pierce Brosnan will next be seen in the Western drama, Seraphim Falls. Brosnan recently wrapped filming Butterfly on a Wheel, a thriller in which Brosnan plays a bad guy who terrorizes Maria Bello and Gerard Butler. The busy actor/producer also just finished work on Marriage with Chris Cooper and Patricia Clarkson.
