"Battle of the Network Stars" to Become a Feature Film

If you thought Hollywood was slowing down in their quest to make every classic TV show into a feature film, think again. Paramount Pictures is going to be making a movie based on the TV series, "Battle of the Network Stars." Huh? Yes, you read it right. "Battle of the Network Stars" is getting the big screen treatment.

According to Variety, the movie will focus on a disgraced network executive who uses the competition to regain respectability in the industry.

Etan Cohen will write the script. Jimmy Miller will produce and Barry Frank will executive produce. Miller and Frank will be using their connections in the sports and entertainment worlds to attract big names to the pic.
