The Hollywood Reporter reports Daniel Clowes ("Ghost World") will pen the script to "Backyard Resistance" for Paramount Pictures."Backyard Resistance" is the true story of the three boys - Jayson Lamb, Eric Zala, and Chris Strompolos - who did their own remake of "Raiders of the Lost Ark." "Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Adaptation" was shot in Mississippi over a seven year period. The trio got the interest of producer Scott Rudin and Paramount after Vanity Fair published their story.
Daniel Clowes adapted his "Ghost World" graphic novel for the screen, and recently completed work on the script to "Art School Confidential."
