Nov 5, 2005 - Benjamin McKenzie ("Junebug") has been cast opposite Al Pacino in the movie, "88 Minutes," directed by Jon Avnet.
Pacino stars as a college professor who works with the FBI as a forensic psychiatrist. After he receives a warning that he only has 88 minutes to live, he must race around trying to figure out who is trying to kill him. McKenzie will play a college student and one of the prime suspects.
Avi Lerner, Randall Emmett, George Furla, John Thompson, Gary Scott Thompson and Avnet will produce the film. Gary Scott Thompson ("The Fast and the Furious") wrote the script.
Filming is already underway in Vancouver.
