By Rebecca Murray, About.com

Oct. 13, 2004 - Mark Wahlberg's name seems to be batted about a lot recently when it comes to casting news. Paramount Pictures just signed director John Singleton ("2 Fast 2 Furious") to direct "Four Brothers," and Wahlberg's being mentioned as in negotiations to star in the dramatic movie.

David Elliot and Paul Lovett wrote "Four Brothers," which centers on adopted brothers who reunited for their adoptive mother's funeral only to discover she may have been murdered. "Four Brothers" will be produced by Lorenzo Di Bonaventura and is scheduled to begin filming in January, 2005.
