Jan 13, 2010 - Another day, another bit of casting news for Steven Soderbergh's upcoming thriller, Knockout. The latest actors nearing deals to join up are Channing Tatum and Michael Angarano. If they do sign up, they will be joining Ewan McGregor, Dennis Quaid, Michael Fassbender, and Gina Carano (of Mixed Martial Arts fame) on the production which is set to begin shooting next month, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Carano will star as a spy betrayed and out for revenge. THR says Tatum will play a fellow spy and Angarano is a teenager pulled into action after trying to help Carano out.

Tatum will next be seen in the romantic drama Dear John. He also has The Eagle of the Ninth coming out later this year, and may be reuniting with his A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints and Fighting director Dito Montiel for Son of No One.

Michael Angarano's currently filming the comedy Ceremony with Uma Thurman and Lee Pace.
