According to a press release issued by Warner Bros, License to Wed follows newly engaged couple Ben Murphy (Krasinski) and Sadie Jones (Moore) who run into a bump in the road while planning their wedding. Sadie's always dreamed of a traditional wedding held at her family's church but in order to be married at that particular church by Reverend Frank (Williams), they must pass his "patented, foolproof, marriage-prep course." Ben and Sadie have to go through a series of classes and complete outlandish homework assignments just to prove they're truly meant to be together.
Eric Christian Olsen, Christine Taylor and Josh Flitter co-star in License to Wed. Mike Medavoy, Arnold Messer, Nick Osborne and Robert Simonds are producing the film with Bradley Fisher, David Thwaites, Kim Zubick and Bruce Berman executive producing. The behind the scenes team includes director of photography John Bailey, production designer Gae Buckley and editor Kathryn Himoff.
