"Shaun of the Dead" star Simon Pegg has signed on to play one of Tom Cruise's character's allies in "Mission Impossible 3."Filming began on the third film of the "Mission Impossible" franchise in July 2005. Shooting is taking place throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia.
Not much about the plot has been disclosed as of yet, but it is known that Philip Seymour Hoffman will play the main villain. Laurence Fishburne will be one of the good guys, and Ving Rhames is reprising his role as Luther Stickell. Also cast in "Mission Impossible 3" are Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, Michelle Monaghan, and Keri Russell.
