Guide Review - "Meet the Fockers" DVD Review
Ben Stiller, Teri Polo, Robert DeNiro and Blythe Danner reprise their roles from "Meet the Parents" in this 2004 sequel. The first film followed the misadventures of Gaylord 'Greg' Focker (Ben Stiller) whose first weekend with his future in-laws, Jack and Dina Byrnes (played by Robert DeNiro and Blythe Danner), went totally haywire. From a sewage mishap to a missing cat to a misunderstanding over drugs, just about everything Greg did got screwed up beyond belief. Things only got worse when Greg found out his future father-in-law used to work for the CIA.This time around, Greg, his fiancee Pam (Polo), and his future in-laws travel to Florida to meet Greg's parents (Hoffman and Streisand). The Fockers are an unconventional couple and polar opposites from the Byrnes. Can the Fockers and the Byrnes find enough common ground to allow their kids to get married in peace? Check out "Meet the Fockers" to find out the answer.
