June 12, 2010 - If there was one item Taylor Lautner could take with him as a keepsake at the end of filming all five Twilight films, what would it be? Lautner was asked that at the June 12th Los Angeles press conference for the third film of the series, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and his answer was sort of surprising.

"Probably those little jean shorts. Definitely. They have a lot of value. I am going to miss those shorts dearly," laughed Lautner.

Despite loving them, he doesn't really know anything about Jacob's shorts. "I don’t even know what they are! They are just jeans Jacob finds in the woods, man! I don’t know. I don’t even know if there is a brand," said Lautner. "Just because you [asked] that, I am definitely going to look at that when I wear those little jean shorts again. I am so curious now."

But it wasn't all about The Twilight Saga: Eclipse at the Taylor Lautner press conference for the third film of the Twilight franchise. No, Lautner had to answer a couple of other off-topic questions, including one about his guilty pleasures. Is he into Jersey Shore? Housewives? No, he's into much more mainstream entertainment. "American Idol. So You Think You Can Dance as well, but American Idol would definitely be number one for me. I haven’t missed an episode in 8 or 9 years," confessed Lautner, laughing. "I can’t believe I just said that."

However, as big a fan as he is, don't expect Lautner to ever make an appearance on the show as a guest singer. The 18 year old actor admits he doesn't have it in him. "No, I can’t sing," confessed Lautner. "That is the funny thing. Maybe that is why I like watching it so much is because there is no way I could do that."
