March 7, 2007 - Academy Award winners Clint Eastwood and Angelina Jolie are teaming up for the Universal Pictures movie Changeling, according to Variety. Eastwood's onboard to direct the film with Jolie in negotiations to star in the project based on true events.
Ron Howard and Brian Grazer will produce Changeling with J Michael Straczynski writing the script. Production is expected to begin later this year.
If the deal goes through, Jolie would star as a mother whose son is kidnapped. When the LAPD returns her child, she begins to believe the boy they've given her isn't really her son.
Angelina Jolie will next be seen in A Mighty Heart based on the lives of Daniel and Mariane Pearl. Jolie is also providing the voice of Grendel's mother in Beowulf and the voice of Tigress in Kung Fu Panda.
