Oct 16, 2006 - Shooting is expected to begin in November 2006 on the thriller The Tourist (retitled Deception) starring Hugh Jackman and Ewan McGregor. With the start date edging closer, director Marcel Langenegger has been busy filling the supporting roles. Michelle Williams signed on just days ago and now word comes that Maggie Q (Mission Impossible 3) will be working on The Tourist before she takes on Live Free or Die Hard, the long-anticipated fourth film of the Die Hard series.
The Tourist will feature McGregor as an accountant who is introduced into the seamy world of sex clubs by his lawyer buddy (Jackman).
Jackman will be producing The Tourist with Robbie Brenner, David Bushell, Christopher Eberts, John Palermo, and Arnold Rifkin.
