Variety is reporting "X-Men" star Hugh Jackman has signed on to star in the movie "Good," to be directed by Lone Scherfig ("Wilbur Wants to Kill Himself") and adapted by John Wrathall from the C. P. Taylor play.

Jackman joins Jason Isaacs ("Elektra") and Romola Garai ("Rory O'Shea Was Here") for the indie film, which will be produced by Miriam Segal and John Palermo.

According to Variety, Jackman will play a professor seduced by Germany's national pride. Garai will co-star as a student Jackman's interested in, and Isaacs will play Jackman's best friend.

Filming is expected to begin this summer in Potsdam and Berlin.

Jackman recently completed his work in "The Fountain" for Darren Aronofsky. Next up is a one-man stage show, followed by "Good." Jackman is then expected to star as Wolverine in "X-Men 3."
