Guide Review - "Iron Man" - Ultimate 2-Disc Edition DVD Review
The StoryRobert Downey Jr stars as billionaire industrialist Tony Stark, a jet-setting womanizer who is held hostage by terrorists in Afghanistan after his visit with US troops ends in his convoy being blown up. Kept alive by a battery-powered device which keeps metals from entering his heart, Stark is forced into building the powerful Jericho missile for the terrorists. But while they believe he's just been working on their weapon, he's also been creating an iron suit which he dons to escape his captors.
Rescued by the military and returned to the States, the life-altering experience prompts Stark to change his ways. Stark decides to take his company in a new direction and away from building weapons of destruction. The special suit he designed becomes increasingly more important - and functional - as he makes it his mission to protect innocent lives. But not everyone at his company approves of his change in plans...
