What is For Heavens Sake about?
Its with Florence Henderson and I played her son-in-law. It was the story about a grandmother and a granddaughter. The grandmother passes and goes to heaven and the granddaughter wants to follow her. And I play the father of the granddaughter.
Florence Henderson is such a beautiful actress. She convinces the granddaughter to stay on earth and live an amazing life. I dont know whats happening with that right now.
It sounds really sweet.
Its such a great story.
Youre really getting to work with some of the great women of Hollywood, arent you?
Yeah, whats that about? I feel like someone should just point at me and say, Wait! An imposter get him!
How about playing a father? Are you ready for that or do you feel youre still too young to be playing a father?
No. Ive always loved children. I did a little movie [where] I played Ken Kesey and I remember to do the research I had to read all of his novels and stuff. I talked to people that knew him and they said that the end of his life, he enjoyed hanging out with children even more than adults. I think that spirit thats in children is really very appealing to me too, the openness.
Have you noticed a big difference between film and television?
Yeah. As an actor you get a little bit more time in film. In film, the pauses are more forgiving. They let you play more in the different colors of the scene. Television just works a little bit faster.
