Bree Turner on the Plot of “Just My Luck:” Bree Turner co-stars with Lindsay Lohan in the romantic comedy, “Just My Luck, “ directed by Donald Petrie (“Welcome to Mooseport”).

Describing the movie as cute, Turner says, “It’s about Lindsay Lohan who plays the luckiest girl in the world, and me and Samaire Armstrong are her best friends. And basically she falls in love with this guy who’s the unluckiest guy in the world. They kiss and some cosmic craziness [happens] and they switch powers. She becomes incredibly unlucky and he becomes incredibly lucky. But the nice, sweet part of the story is that she learns that just having a lot of money and cute clothes and boys at her disposal doesn’t give her happiness. And she ends up finding a balance in the end, so it’s actually a good story.”

Bree Turner on Her Own ‘Luck’ Status: “I am unlucky in the movie. In my life, I have a very lovely life. In the movie I’m a bit cynical. I’m her jaded friend.”

On Working with Lindsay Lohan: “Pretty nuts, just with all the people and the paparazzi. It’s pretty insane but she handles it so well. She really does. She’s very gracious about it.”

Lohan’s Ability to Detect the Paparazzi: “Oh my God. I’ve never been in that situation before, just like walking down the street with someone that famous. And it was like I was so clueless. I had no idea. She was like, ‘There’s a guy over there, there’s a guy over there, there’s a guy over there.’ I was like, ‘Geez girl!’ I guess you hone your skills after time.”

The Appeal of That Kind of Fame: “You know, people always ask that question and I don’t know if you should plan those things. I guess with that kind of fame ultimately means that you are working a lot and you’re successful and you’re doing good work. And you’re getting a response. So I guess that’s not a bad thing. Obviously privacy is key. I like my privacy and that would be strange to deal with. But I just want to work and if that comes along with it, that’s fine.”
