Joshua LeBar takes on the role of Josh Weinstein in the HBO series, "Entourage," based very, very loosely on the life of actor/executive producer Mark Wahlberg.

Catching up with LeBar at the World Premiere of "Exorcist: The Beginning," I got a chance to find out more about his role in "Entourage" - and a chance to voice my one complaint about the series.

INTERVIEW WITH JOSHUA LeBAR:

Your character makes an entrance in the 4th episode or so of the series?
I actually come in the 5th. I have a couple episode arc, and I’m a rival agent of Mr. Jeremy Piven. And, basically, Vince [Adrian Grenier] is sort of the commodity I’m seeking. Next week [on the show], I throw a sort of mega-bash and I have a proposition.

Good stuff has come. The show got picked up for another season and we just have high expectations. The sky’s the limit from here as far as that goes.

And this show’s had some big guest stars. Even Val Kilmer was in one episode.
He was in my episode as the Sherpa. Next week we have another great special guest star. I don’t know how HBO’s handling that so I don’t want to really reveal it. But we started with Jessica Alba, Mr. Wahlberg appeared in one. Jimmy Kimmel – we’ve just had really, really solid stars in every single episode.

What’s life like on the set?
It’s just a dream. The producers and the directors they hire are such down-to-earth, cool guys that I think that’s why the show has such a cool feel to it is because, you know, the people that are creating the show, they know this. They’ve been here, they’ve done it. Mr. Wahlberg’s input – it’s good stuff.

I have one complaint about the show.
What’s that?

It’s only half an hour. You just get into it and it’s over.
Oh gosh, that’s my mother’s same freaking problem with it. She says she gets into it every week and then right when she gets into it, the episode’s over. But I think that also keeps an element of making people want to come back. There’s an addictive quality to what’s going to happen this week, and I think that’s why we’ve got 14 more on the way. And more and more people watch it every week, the ratings just keep going up and up.

What kind of comments have you heard?
A lot of people wonder if it’s sort of real-life Hollywood. If this is just a sort of mock portrayal. A lot of people wonder if all agents in Hollywood are like [Jeremy Piven's character] Ari. I just hear everybody loves Adrian [Grenier]. You get things like this. But overall the feedback's been very good. It’s a hot show with lots of hype around it and like I said, I think it can go through the roof.

Do you have an entourage?
[Smiling] Well, you know, I’m from the Midwest so I keep close with my Midwest boys out here. If one of us gets a little piece of the action, I like to bring everybody else along as well.

What can we expect from upcoming episodes of “Entourage?” How many episodes are you signed on for?
Well, we already shot the first eight. So they’re actually writing Episode 9 right now. We’ve been picked up for 14 more, but they’re in the middle of 9 so the exact storyline is still being crafted.
